the Director & Coach:
Jasser Ayman Jasser has been in the gymnastics field for over 26 years Starting as a gymnast in the Syrian national team then as a Coach, international Judge and academy manager. He started his gymnastics career in Syria, where he earned his experience about gymnastics from his soviet coach, one of the best coaches in the Soviet Union. After moving to Cyprus he started coaching for the club Pentadaktylos Kyrineas, a member of the Cyprus gymnastics federation. He started the gymnastics academy in the High School Apostolos Varnavas, Nicosia– Strovolos with few children and from his good work and good reputation he owned the trust of more parents bringing their children to gymnastics. Now his academy is the biggest gymnastics academy in Nicosia. His top gymnasts have lately earned the best results in their category in the Cyprus federation competitions and showed an enormous progress. He represented Cyprus in many international gymnastics competitions and world cups as a judge and coach with the top level Cypriot gymnasts and the national team. Jasser’s philosophy is to offer a program to children of all abilities, in a non-competitive environment. And he gets as much satisfaction from seeing a young beginner gymnast performing a forward roll for the first time as an accomplished gymnast performing a difficult, advanced level skill exercise. he believes in motivating and encouraging each child to be the best he/she can be and not compare his/her own progress to that of other students.
